Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026 โ Public Beta ยท Solana Devnet
1. About this site
Degenhub (the "Service") is currently operated as a public beta on the Solana Devnet. All in-game balances and payouts are denominated in devnet SOL โ they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for fiat or mainnet assets. The Service is provided strictly for entertainment and product-testing purposes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that participating in skill-/chance-based games does not violate any law applicable to you. Residents of jurisdictions where any form of on-chain gaming is unlawful must not use the Service.
3. Wallets & Custody
The Service is non-custodial. We never hold your private keys. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, your seed phrase, and any devices used to sign transactions. We cannot reverse, refund, or recover transactions broadcast to Solana.
4. Provably Fair
Every coinflip and rock-paper-scissors round is verifiable using the published provably-fair algorithm. The server commits to a seed hash before the round; the public seed is derived from a future finalized Solana blockhash; outcomes are computed as SHA-512(serverSeed | publicSeed | gameId). You can independently verify any resolved round on the Fairness page.
5. House fee
The house takes 5% of the WINNINGS on each resolved round โ i.e. 5% of the net gain, not 5% of the pot. For a coinflip, each player wagers X; the winner receives 1.95X (net +0.95X). On RPS draws, each player receives their wager back minus a small fee. This fee funds platform operations and infrastructure.
6. Prohibited activity
You may not:
- Use the Service from a jurisdiction where it is unlawful;
- Use any automated agent, bot, or script to interact with the Service;
- Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with smart-contract or backend logic;
- Use funds derived from money laundering, sanctioned addresses, or illegal activity;
- Open accounts to circumvent any prior restriction or ban.
7. Service availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no uptime guarantee. We reserve the right to pause, restrict, or modify any feature at any time, including for security or regulatory reasons. Transactions already on-chain remain final.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of wallet funds, market volatility, network congestion, validator outages, or wallet-provider bugs.
9. Disputes & arbitration
Any dispute arising from your use of the Service that cannot be resolved through good-faith email negotiation will be settled by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for misuse of intellectual property.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least two weeks before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance.
